I am currently doing Maths, Economics and BTEC ICT and I really regret choosing a BTEC as I feel like it has hindered me from reaching a good uni or course so I plan on staying in my current school for a gap year to do physics. Would this be beneficial for me? I plan on taking engineering or some thing in finance.

Georgetown Interviewer Ghosting??

So I got an email from Georgetown Admissions to reach out to my assigned interviewer on Jan 4th. I sent an email to him on Jan 5th, giving the times I am available, where I am from, and suggesting local places we could meet. I didn't get a response even by Jan 17th, so I sent an email to my local Alumni Admissions Program Committee Chair on that day about the situation (which was a mistake on my part since I def should have alerted them earlier). I got no response from the chair, but I then got a response from my interviewer on Jan 19th, so something must have gone through. The interviewer responded, saying to text him about the interview. And so I texted him soon after I received that email. He did not respond at all, text or email, by Jan 23rd so I replied to his email (saying like I texted you, did you receive anything) and texted him again. I was being very respectful through all of this by the way! After I did that, he finally texted back, not confirming any details of the interview but only asking where I was located (which I mentioned multiple times in my very first email). I responded to his question like 2 hours after he texted back (I was literally in school so I could not respond right when the message was sent). He did not text back. I finally texted him again yesterday, asking for more details about the interview and that I'm looking forward to it, and he has not responded yet. What should I do? Is this concerning? I didn't want to contact him on email again because he already told me to text him and made it clear that he low-key doesn't read the emails he is sent (because I put every necessary detail about my availability and location in my first email and he doesn't seem to be referencing it). I don't want to seem rude and pushy, but it's been almost a month since I initially reached out and in case you didn't know, **Georgetown practically requires students to have an interview for their application to be considered fully**. I don't want this interview scheduling issue to be a detriment to my application. For all my other interviews, I've been able to get responses within a couple days or have the entire correspondance and interview be done within a week and a half. Idk what's happening. Might delete soon because I don't want my interviewer to potentially see this. Has this happened to anyone else?

Very confused on second battle of the game (Dorter)

Hi, im quite confused on this game as a whole, I tried doing this batle while I was lv4/5 and the enemies destroyed me, so I went into farming, I did some "Focus" Job lv up to have everything unlocked in Squire/Knight for some of my characters But the level of the enemies keeps going up? Im level 20 with Ramza and the knight actually 2shots everyone in the main party (Delita is lv4 which vs them is a one shot) Am i making a mistake here? Do I have to try again with some new strategy? (I'm running 1 archer 2 knigts 1 chemist full master job.

Ok so I got a cool pattern one full of samples and sequenced the way I want it. How the fuck do I make a song now? Where i have 16 bars of the kick only Then bring in the hats for 8 bars Then perc after 16 Then bass after another 16? And also how do I pan the percs to fill up the mix to sound fuller? Also another thing all my 8 tracks are used up now :( I was told I could render tracks to combine them so I have more free instruments to play? Is that true? Help a noob out :)

Hi everybody. Now that there’s a new Mario kart on the way I just wanna get this out there. Does anyone else but me Wart in the game? I can’t be the only one. I think adding him to Mario Kart would be so awesome as a retro pick. We got Shy Guy and Birdo but never Wart. He was the first Villain we gout outside of Bowser and I think his return is long overdue. And Mouser and Triclyde would be cool too. I want to ask the wider Mario Kart community what do y’all think? Test coming up

I applied for a job and they told me they would schedule a drug test that i have to go do in a lab. I stopped smoking and started drinking more water. Im 5'1 , 58 kg and a daily smoker. I was primarily using a bong but quantity wise i always packed small one-hits. I read that activated charcoal, green tea and zinc ( false negative?) can help. My question is regarding other medications. I take birth control, not as a bc method but to manage endometriosis ( the main reason i smoke too). If i take my bc in the morning, could i maybe use the charcoal after hours have passed? I dont know how much time i have until they want to schedule the test but since they are covering the costs im just gonna try anyway as i dont loose anything. Im not in the usa so other detoxs and at home tests are not available. I also take Ritalin and seroquel, and i asume these will show up too, maybe as false positives for amphetamines and maybe benzos, but i have my prescriptions for that. Ill report back what happened, reading up and taking my use into account, i think the fastest i can do it is maybe 20 days

Recently, I visited the Museo del Oro in Bogotá to learn more about Colombia’s indigenous history. The guide shared about the Muisca people’s animist traditions and how their world was violently upended by Spanish conquistadors. Sacred sites were desecrated, gold was stolen, and many were enslaved and forced into a version of “Christianity” that bore little resemblance to the gospel of Christ. Tragically, even missionaries were complicit in these acts. It’s sobering to think how the gospel—intended to set people free—was instead used as a tool of oppression. Today, 90% of Colombians identify as Christian, but church attendance is rapidly declining. Forced conversions couldn’t produce the true faith seen in the early Church, where Christianity spread through the blood of martyrs like Stephen, Polycarp, and the apostles. As we share the gospel today, let’s remember: the Spirit of Christ moves through love, truth, and gentleness, not conquest. Let us be prepared to share the hope within us with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
